Măgura presents KĀKĀRIKI / THE PARROTS

Măgura is preparing a new production – a delightful comedy about the passions, dreams, and loves of ordinary people just like us, yet each one unique in their own way. The play has been written especially for Măgura and for the Romanian community in Auckland. You will recognise yourselves and those around you. Together, we will ask what one does when it seems there is nothing left to do, and we will laugh together at ourselves and at the tragicomic situations life places us in.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see the comedy written by Raluca Rădulescu and directed by Filip Ristovski: Kākāriki / The Parrots.

Performances will take place on 6 and 7 September 2025 at the Te Oro Centre in Glen Innes, with a special public rehearsal on the Friday for a limited audience.

The performance is not recommended for children under 12.

Raluca and Filip have travelled especially to Auckland to work with the Măgura Troupe. Come and meet them!
