23 August 2025 – The Seniors’ Trip to Sanders House

The Seniors’ Club excursion to Sanders House on 23 August 2024 was full of cheer and well organised from the coach departure to the return. The coffee stop provided time for socialising and set a relaxed tone for the day. The visit to Sanders House and strolls through the surroundings, accompanied by the stories and humour of the guides Tudor and Andu, brought much joy to the participants. The traditional picnic and lunch at a local restaurant rounded off a truly memorable day.
16-17 August 2025 - NIJINSKI with Filip Ristovski

Last week I had the pleasure of seeing an absolutely wonderful play: Nijinski (directed by Mălina Andrei, with Filip Ristovski in the leading role, based on Uncensored Diary by Vaslav Nijinski, translated from Russian by Raluca Rădulescu). Some members of the community attended both performances, not only as spectators but also as apprentices, as they themselves are preparing a show with the Măgura on the weekend of 6 and 7 September
10 August 2025 - La Povești - An August morning with marshmallows by the fire

Several families from the Romanian community recently gathered for a morning filled with good cheer, stories, and moments of connection. Even though the wind and cold made their presence felt, the atmosphere was warmed by smiles, laughter, and the friendly spirit of those present. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen community bonds and create beautiful memories together. Many thanks to everyone who participated and helped make everything run so smoothly!
13 July - In July, we celebrate Christmas in the heart of winter!

28 June 2025 - Universal Day of the Romanian Blouse – 2025 Edition

On June 28th, at the Milford Senior Citizens Club Hall in Auckland, the group IA La Antipozi organized the third edition of the exhibition dedicated to the traditional Romanian blouse.
This year's theme — "Queen Marie and the Romanian Blouse" — highlighted the elegance, symbolism, and strong cultural identity embodied by the "ie". The exhibition featured blouses hand-sewn by the women and young ladies in the group, as well as heirlooms passed down from grandmothers and great-grandmothers, spanning many generations.
