Last Sunday, we celebrated International Children's Day together — an event organized by the Doina Auckland Association and hosted at Marlborough Park Tennis Club, in partnership with MAGIC Tennis.

A special thank you to Călina for yet another inspiring essential oils workshop! Together, children and adults created blends for restful sleep, calm and focus, energy, and study. It was a wonderful day where we combined play with learning about the benefits of nature. We look forward to seeing you at the next gathering!

The 'La povești' group met last Sunday for an egg-painting activity – a lovely opportunity to share stories, create, and keep the tradition alive in a relaxed and friendly way. Thank you, Laura and Iulia, for coordinating the activity.

On March 29, 2025, the Auckland community pulsed to the rhythm of Romanian traditions at an event that skillfully blended art, music, and folk dance.  
Romanian rhythm and art was a true success, and the large turnout proved how important it is to keep traditions alive and share them with pride.

An Unforgettable Evening at the Masquerade Ball! 
The event was a true success, offering all participants a magical atmosphere filled with color, music, and joy. The costumes were spectacular, and the creativity of those present made the Ball truly special. Special thanks to the Doina Community for their support in organising this wonderful event!

In March, the community gathered to create mărțișoare from Sculpey (polymer clay), just like in previous years. The event was a wonderful opportunity for collaboration between children, parents, and grandparents, with the support of seniors who helped shape the mărțișoare. After baking, they were finished with safety pins and the traditional red and white string.
